Mikalojus Daukša library in Kėdainiai

Task

To reconstruct the building by installing a children and youth section in Mikalojus Daukša public library, by taking into consideration the special object location.

Solution

A modern interpretation of the historic environment, respecting Kėdainiai Old Town Great Market Square buildings’ architectural tradition was created. The materials used – glass, clinker, wood decorative fragments, metal structure elements.
