PARK IN KALTANĖNAI

Task

The arrangement of the public area of Kaltanėnai town in Žeimena turn, joining the previously prepared technical project, which includes the upper terrace of the Kaltanėnai Manor House.

Solution

The young pine forest, which is in the projected area, allowed the formation of enclosed spaces for a relaxing stay. The part of the park’s space is also suitable for exhibiting of sculptures. Wooden sculptures are built on the municipality’s initiative, while the stone sculpture “Grįžulo Ratai” would be built by organizers of this project with the initiative group.
The designed sculpture symbolizes the previously used star guide for setting of the time and the direction, and for today’s society it would symbolize a guide for discovering and fostering of human values.
